Here you will find all important information about this annual choral festival.
ATTENTION:
The 2020 Dauphin County Chorus Festival will take place at The Forum in Harrisburg on Saturday, April 4th, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. In case we need a snow date: April 18th, 2020 has been confirmed.
All students who have been selected to represent Seven Sorrows School are required to attend all school and mandatory evening/day practices with participating schools in order to participate in the festival.
Students will be provided with bus transportation through Middletown School District. Students will need to wear 'Sunday best' clothing and dressy, but comfortable, shoes on concert day.
Elementary MANDATORY Rehearsal:
Thursday, April 2nd 2020 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Susquehanna Township Middle School.
Students will be provided bus transportation to and from Susquehanna High School through Middletown School District. Students need to be dropped off at MAMS (Middletown Area Middle School) by 5:30 p.m. and picked-up by 8:30 p.m.
Middle School MANDATORY Rehearsal:
Friday, April 3rd, 2020 from 8:30-1:45 p.m. at Susquehanna Middle School. This will be an excused absence from school.
Students will be provided bus transportation to and from Susquehanna High School through Middletown School District. Students need to be dropped off at MAMS by 7:30 a.m. and picked-up by 2:15/2:30 p.m. Permission forms to ride the bus will be sent home to be SIGNED and RETURNED.
Students will need to pack a lunch for this rehearsal. Students may dress down, but will need to wear catholic school appropriate clothing.
CONCERT DAY: Saturday, April 4th, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. at The Forum in Harrisburg.
Students will need to be dropped off at MAHS by 7:30 a.m. Lunch will be at Strawberry Square. Please pack or bring enough money to purchase a lunch in the food court. If you decide to pack, you are responsible to transporting your lunch throughout the day and all contents need to be disposable.
Parents will provide transportation home after the concert.
Please make sure to check in with me at the Box Office BEFORE you leave Founder's Hall.
